Why this blog?

I used to have a blog with a lot more — multiple languages, lots of images, extra pages, extra everything. At some point I realized none of that actually mattered. What matters is the content, and how fast and easy it is to read.

So I tore it down and started over with one idea in mind: minimalism. No clutter, no distractions, no unnecessary weight. Just words, loading fast, easy on the eyes.

Part of the inspiration actually goes back to when I was a kid, watching The Social Network. I was fascinated by the tool Mark used to publish his posts — simple, clear, understandable even for that time. I always wanted something like that for myself.

This blog is also my logbook — mostly about my life as a developer: what I'm building, what I'm learning, the mistakes and the small wins along the way. But it's not only about code. Sometimes I'll write about whatever else is on my mind.

I'm also writing everything in English on purpose. It's not my first language, and forcing myself to write here is one more way to keep learning it.

Performance and simplicity are the foundation of everything here. The blog is built with Astro.

Less is more
