Software Engineer
Andres Parra
I write code, build things, and figure out how software should work — currently based in Cúcuta, Colombia, finishing my Systems Engineering degree at UFPS. I'm the founder of RPCIDE, a competitive programming platform with 400+ active users, along with a few other software projects.
I'm always experimenting with new technologies, keeping my curiosity alive, and looking for the next thing to learn. I write about what I learn and teach — you can find my tutorials and articles on web development, programming, and AI.

What I write about
Most of my posts cover practical, real-world topics: React and TypeScript patterns I use in production, Python for backend systems and AI experiments, and lessons learned building tools like RPCIDE and Scriio. I also dive into machine learning fundamentals, Java when the project calls for it, and whatever new stack I'm currently obsessing over.
I write about ai, machine-learning, linux, html, git, css, opencode, java, docker, github.
